Ultimate Beacons Challenge 2020

That's right, it's back! A challenge of our own making and the event we kick started our business off with. Welcome to the epic, the one, the only, 3rd annual - 'Ultimate Beacons Challenge’ 

The challenge takes on the highest mountain in the central, eastern and western mountain ranges of The Brecon Beacons in under 24 hours. You will get the opportunity to embrace South Wales at its finest on its three iconic peaks;

WEST: Fan Brycheiniog 802m 

CENTRAL: Pen Y Fan 886m 

EAST: Waun Fach 810m 

The clock will start ticking the moment you set off at the foot of Fan Brycheiniog where you will be guided every step of the way by a qualified Mountain Leader who will offer every support you may need to complete this epic hiking challenge.

After completion of Fan Brycheiniog, you will be transported to the central beacons to tackle the highest mountain in South Wales - Pen Y Fan passing over its neighbour mountain Corn Du (if you fancy making it four peaks). 

On completion of Pen Y Fan we will then make our way across to the eastern Beacons to climb our final mountain that we like to call The Beast in the East... Also known as Waun Fach, where you can take in the stunning views of Llangorse, Brecon and the legendary dragons back……. If it’s still light enough to see! 

The challenge is a total approximate distance of 25km with 1,613m of ascent.

The cost of the challenge is £98pp and includes transport with pick up/drop off points in Chepstow, Newport & Abergavenny. Alternatively you can purchase a place without transport for £78pp but will need to drive yourself between mountain ranges. 

If you wish to participate in this event to raise money for charity, we will donate 10% of your entry fee to your chosen charity should you book as a group of 5 or more.
